Codes

Most of my codes are available on GitHub.

catsHTM - A tool for fast accessing and cross-matching large astronomical catalogs

The catsHTM code is available on GitHub. The package is described in details in Soumagnac & Ofek 2018.

SLAB-Diffusion - Modeling the radiative diffusion of photons through a slab of circumstellar material

The SLAB-Diffusion package is a tool for modeling the radiative diffusion of photons through a slab of circumstellar material (CSM), e.g. in order to simulate the observables (effective blackbody temperature and radius) of an interacting Supernova. The code is available on GitHub. The scientific motivations for SLAB-Diffusion and the package are described in details in Soumagnac et al. 2018.

BigFoot

The questions posed by the discovery of the cosmic acceleration inspired a number of ambitious ground-based and space-based projects, making this early 21st particularly exciting for cosmology.

The ''footprint'' is the patch of the sky scanned by a given galaxy survey. In order to help astronomers simultaneously visualise footprints of multiple surveys, Alex Merson and myself have designed a tool called BigFoot. An example is shown in the Figure below.
