MB|I am under the impression that Bill Clinton was in fact educated by the
  |wonderful Jesuit Priests at Georgetown, is that in fact a correct
  |assumption?  I was also told that Bill Clinton was thought to be a good
  |candidate for Priesthood by the Jesuit society and that he was viewed as a
  |very good and likely choice for such?
  |Do the Jesuits favor Bill Clinton as their likely Presidential candidate
  |now that he was chosen by 46% of the people to be our leader?  Was he a
  |choice for President by those in Georgetown?
  |I personally voted for Bush, but I do know one other person who is
  |Catholic who voted for Mr Clinton.  Perhaps the Jesuits know more about
  |him than most of us eh?
  |Second Question:
  |Do you follow the revelations now taking place in Southeast Houston at the
  |Private Home of a hispanic familia?  My understanding is that the Virgin
  |Mary has told a young girl at that residence that She will appear to all
  |of us on December 14th in Houston.  Do you intend to attend services to
  |witness the appearance of Mary at the sight at that time? They have told
  |many people at the Residence that the Virgin Mary will appear at that
  |address and will be seen by all in attendance.  She will reveal herself
  |and her messages of sorrow to us at that time.  It has been told that Mary,
  |Mother of Jesus, has given instructions that Jesus, Her Son, is unhappy
  |with the Americas and the way that people of the Americas have not
  |followed the Word of God. She has told us to Pray the Rosary, offer
  |Penance for our Sins, and to Fast. Perhaps you can shed some light on this
  |subject for all of us Father??

Dear Michael,
 
St. Paul commands us to pray for all in high positions (1st Tim 2:1-2),
and so I pray for our new President-elect.  He is not a Catholic and
so could never have been considered as a candidate for our priesthood.
 
Like everyone else, priests vote their own preferences for public
office.  I don't know how many went for Clinton in the recent election.
 
Until I read your message, I had not heard about any alleged apparitions
of Our Lady in Houston.  If she is appearing there and asking for
increased prayer, penance, and reformation of our lives, these are gospel
values, which were also proclaimed at Lourdes and Fatima.
