³ Being a Catholic all of my life, I was very excited to find out about
³ Catholic boards, and this is my first time on here. Right now, I am
³ distressed to see Catholicism and Christianity get such a HORRIBLE rap on
³ the boards here. There are young people that are impressionable to
³ atheists here...so much, that I have not found ANY real arguments for the
³ existence of God and for Catholicism. Right now, I am having the debate of
³ my lifetime (albeit a week old) with the help of my intellegent dad and
³ Pre-med brother with users regarding proof that God exists. The leading
³ atheist has a group of young people that eat up whatever he says, so it is
³ hard, but now I have gotten people's attention. I have used Aristotle's
³ contention of Cause and Effect, begging a first cause, and am about to
³ present design and order and miracles. These people are really into
³ "Scientism"...and are incensed that I am stating that GOD made Science.
³ So...I was wondering if you had any words or references for me regarding
³ these discussions...I live in Los Angeles, CA, BTW. I am just starved for
