Welcome to the website for the workshop on Intrinsic Alignments and Cosmic Shear which will be held from Monday 31st March - Friday 4th April 2008 at University College London. This small workshop will focus on theoretical and observational attempts to understand intrinsic alignments and mitigate their impact on current and future cosmic shear measurements. The purpose of is to develop a common understanding of the current "state of the art" of theoretical predictions and observational constraints, and to map out future work for eliminating this contaminant to upcoming future cosmic shear surveys.
